Jeff Berman, Esq., Attorney & Partner, Berman Fink Van Horn PC
Jeff is the head of BFV’s corporate practice which includes mergers and acquisitions for middle market companies, employment agreements, succession and estate planning for entrepreneurs, commercial real estate, and contracts of all kinds. He partners with clients to make their businesses run smoothly, make processes easier, avoid surprises and, ultimately, help them and their business grow and succeed.
Jeff has been a shareholder at BFV since January 1997 and managing partner since 2004. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1982 and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Corporate Lawyer Network, and the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
He is a member of the Board of The William Breman Home in Atlanta and a member of the Governance Committee and Quality and Risk Management Committee.
Jeff is a Georgia native, having grown up in Augusta. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979, he moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University School of Law, obtaining his law degree from there in 1982. He and his family are enthusiastic international travelers, with France, Italy and Jamaica being among their favorite destinations. He is also an avid reader and a collector of first editions of award-winning mystery and science fiction novels, and enjoys biking, boating and scuba diving.
Don Bravaldo, CPA, Managing Partner, Bravaldo Capital Advisors
Don founded Bravaldo Capital Advisors in 2006 to provide full-service investment banking to middle market clients, a segment underserved by larger advisory firms.
Throughout his career, Don has completed deals across a variety of industries. He has conducted and administered all phases of the mergers and acquisitions process: identifying potential sell side opportunities, packaging businesses for sale, performing business valuations, extending and negotiating offers, conducting due diligence investigations, and managing the formal closing process.
Prior to founding Bravaldo Capital Advisors, Don led the middle market group at a Southeastern business brokerage and served as the business development manager for Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc., a large, publicly traded, consolidator of small to midsize closely held and family run orthopedic and prosthetic service businesses. He is also a former auditor with Bennett Thrasher & Co., P.C. and Arthur Andersen LLP.
Don is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Auburn University. Don is active in his church and enjoys golf, fishing and the outdoors.

Barry Klein, CPA, Partner, Babush, Neiman, Kornman & Johnson, LLP (BNKJ)
Barry, with nearly 25 years of accounting experience, provides auditing, tax and consulting services to companies in technology, manufacturing, multi-unit retail, healthcare, professional services, and wholesale distribution. He also leads the firm’s ERISA audit and assurance consulting group, performing retirement plan audits for clients of various sizes and various industries, including private and public companies.
Barry’s approach to serving his clients is to recognize possible issues his clients could face and address them before they become problems. By being a trusted business partner, Barry provides more than just tax and audit services to the many closely held businesses he helps. He also looks out for his clients and their interests, providing consulting advice and also working with businesses to improve operations and increase profits.
Barry stays on top of new developments and issues that could affect his clients. He is an active leader in the business community, and continues to serve as Treasurer and Board Member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), and the Board of the Atlanta Chapter of Worldwide Employee Benefits (WEB). He is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to joining BNKJ in 1988, Barry gained valuable experience as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, where he was partner in a prominent firm. He later moved to the United States and joined BNKJ’s Audit group as a Supervisor. Barry was named a BNKJ partner in 1995. He earned a Masters in Accounting from the University of South Africa.
Barry and his family are sports enthusiasts, and enjoy many action-packed activities together. Barry especially likes to ride his bicycle, and often participates in charity cycling fundraisers. He also plays soccer in recreational leagues, and likes to relax by sharing fine cuisine with his clients, friends and family.
